The story starts with Capsan and his crew debating over whether or not they will pass their final two tests to become fully fledged "Brotherhood Masters". I will admit, staying up to 1 am was probably not the best idea, but when a series is as good as this one, you just have to do it. After reading the first ten pages, I was captivated and just had to find out what was going to happen further along in the book.
